Amendment in SRO 932(I)/2012 dated 01/08/2012

NOTIFICATION
(CUSTOMS)

S.R.O.128 (I)/2016.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 3E and 4 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969) read with section 3AA thereof, the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 932(I)/2012, dated the 1st August, 2012, namely:-

In the aforesaid Notification,

(1) in the Table, in column (1),-

(a) against S.No.1, in column (3), in entry (x), the word "and" at the end shall be omitted and thereafter the following new entry shall be inserted namely:-
"(xa) handling of TIR operations at Karachi; and";

(b) against S.No.2, in column (3), in entry (x), the word "and" at the end shall be omitted and thereafter the following new entry shall be added, namely:-
"(xa) handling of TIR operations at Taftan and Chaman; and"; and

(c) against S.No.3, in column (3), in entry (x), the word "and" at the end shall be omitted and thereafter the following new entry shall be added, namely:-
"(xa) handling of TIR operations at Torkham; and"; and

(2) after para 3,the following new para shall be inserted, namely:-

"3A. The jurisdiction for all Customs matters relating to TIR operations and allied functions in respect of Border Custom-Station Sost and Gwadar shall be exercised by the respective Collectorates of Customs, as per their notified area of responsibility.".
