Amendment in SRO.656(I)/2006, dated 22.06.2006

NOTIFICATION
(CUSTOMS)

S.R.O. 643 (I)/2018.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O 656(I)/2006, dated the 22nd June, 2006, namely:-

In the aforesaid Notification,-

(a) In paragraph (2), in conditions:-

(i) in condition (i), after the words "Ministry of Industries and Production", the expressions "or Input Output Co-efficient Organization (IOCO)" shall be inserted;

(ii) in condition (ia), after the expressions "Engineering Development Board (EDB)", the expressions "or Input Output Co-efficient Organization (IOCO)" shall be inserted;

(iii) in condition (iii),(iva),(v),(vi), (xiv),(xv) and (xvi) after the letters "EDB", wherever occurring, the words "or IOCO", shall be inserted, respectively;

(iv) in condition (viii) and (xii), after the words "Engineering Development Board", the words " or Input Output Co-efficient Organization", shall be inserted; and

(b) In Explanation (1), after the letters "EDB", the letters "or IOCO" shall be inserted;

(c) In the Table-III, in column (5), after the expressions "Engineering Development Board (EDB)", wherever occurring, the expressions "or Input Output Co-efficient Organization (IOCO)" shall be inserted, respectively;

(d) In Annexure B, in the Form-A, after the words "Engineering Development Board" wherever occurring, the words "or Input Output Co-efficient Organization" shall be inserted; and

(e) After Form-B, in the Certificate, after the letters "EDB", the words "or IOCO" shall be inserted.
