Order u/s 183 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001
S.R.O. 1034(1)/2014.- A number of representations have been received in the Federal Board of Revenue from All Pakistan Tax Bar Association, other Tax bars, FPCCI, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and various other trade/business organizations requesting extension in the last date of filing of Returns.
To facilitate the taxpayers in this regard and in exercise of the powers conferred under section 183 of Income tax Ordinance 2001, Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to exempt penalty and default surcharge subject to the following conditions:
i) Return is filed by 05-12-2014;
ii) Tax due with return, in case of a company, has been paid by 30th September 2014.
