Amendment in S.R.O 1261(I)/2007 dated 31.12.2007

NOTIFICATION
(CUSTOMS)

S.R.O.679(I)/2019.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 1261(I)/2007, dated the 31st December, 2007, namely:-

In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table-I, in column (1),-

(a) against serial number 1823, in column (3), the words "and concentrates" shall be omitted;

(b) against serial number 2039, in column (3), for the word "Antisealing" the word "Anti-scaling" shall be substituted;

(c) for serial number 3825 and the corresponding entries relating thereto the following shall be substituted, namely:-

(d) against serial number 4055, in column (3), for the expressions "steel cord (2+2x0.28mm brass plated steel cord, 3x0.2+6x0.35 & 3x0.2+6x0.35) of a kind used in manufacture of tyres", the expressions "steel cord brass plated (2x0.30HT, 2+2x0.32HT & 3x0.2+6x0.35) of a kind used in manufacture of tyres" shall be substituted; and

(e) against serial number 5225, in column (2), for the figure "8507.2010", the figure "8507.2000" shall be substituted; and

(f) serial number 5226 in column (1), and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3), (4) and (5) shall be omitted.

2. This notification shall take effect from 1st July, 2019.
