NOTIFICATION
(Income Tax)
S.R.O. 236(I)/2020.- In exercise of powers conferred under sub-section (2) of section 53 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (XLIX of 2001), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Second Schedule to the said Ordinance, namely:-
In the aforesaid Schedule, in Part IV, after clause (12A), the following new clause shall be added, namely. -
"(12B) The provisions of section 148 shall not apply to the import of following goods for a period of three months starting from date of issuance of the notification.

Provided that the period of three months may be extended by the Board for another three months on recommendation of Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation & Co-ordination if adverse circumstances related to COVID19 pandemic prevail."
