NOTIFICATION
(Income Tax)

S.R.O. 1318 (I)/2020.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 230 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (XLIX of 2001), read with section 208 and sub-section (1) of section 209 thereof, the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that following amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O 115(I)/2015, dated the 9th February, 2015, namely:-

In the aforesaid Notification, in the TABLE, in column (1),-

(a) against S. No. 1, in column (4), in entry II., for the expression "RTOs or LTUs", the expression "RTOs, CTOs, MTO or LTOs" shall be substituted;
(b) against S. No. 2, in column (4), in entry II., for the expression "RTOs or LTUs", the expression "RTOs, CTOs, MTO or LTOs" shall be substituted;
(c) against S. No. 3, in column (5), in entry I., after the expression "Islamabad," appearing for the first time, the expression "Corporate Tax Office, Islamabad," shall be inserted and for the expression "Large Taxpayers Unit" shall be substituted by "Large Taxpayers' Office";
(d) against S. No. 4, in column (5), in entry I., for the expression "Regional Tax Offices, I, II, III, Karachi, Regional Tax offices, or Large Taxpayer Unit, Karachi and Large Taxpayers Unit II Karachi" the expression "Large Taxpayers' Office, Karachi, Medium Taxpayers' Office, Karachi, Corporate Tax Office, Karachi, Regional Tax Office-I, Karachi & Regional Tax Office-II, Karachi" shall be substituted;
(e) against S. No. 5, in column (5), in entry I., for the expression "Corporate Regional Tax Office, Lahore and Regional Tax Offices, II Lahore" the expression "Corporate Tax Office, Lahore, Regional Tax Office, Lahore" shall be substituted and for the expression "Large Taxpayers Unit Lahore" the expression "Large Taxpayers' Office, Lahore" shall be substituted;
(f) against S. No. 8, in column (5), in entry I., after the word "the", appearing for the second time, the expression "Large Taxpayers' Office, Multan," shall be inserted;
(g) against S. No. 11, in column (5), in entry I., for the expression "Large Taxpayer's Unit" the expression "Large Taxpayers' Office" shall be substituted;

(h) against S. No. 12, in column (5), in entry I., after the word "Rawalpindi" the expression "and Corporate Tax Office, Islamabad" shall be inserted;
(i) against S. No. 15, in column (5), in entry I, for the expression "Corporate Regional Tax Office Karachi" the expression "Corporate Tax Office, Karachi" shall be substituted;
(j) against S. No. 16, in column (5), in entry I, for the expression "Regional Tax Offices II and III Karachi" the expression "Regional Tax Office I, Karachi and Regional Tax office II, Karachi" shall be substituted;
(k) against S. No. 17, in column (5), in entry I, for the expression "Large Taxpayers Unit Karachi and Large Taxpayers Unit-II, Karachi;" the expression "Large Taxpayers Office, Karachi and Medium Taxpayers Office, Karachi" shall be substituted;
(l) against S. No. 19, in column (5), in entry I, for the expression "Large Taxpayer's Unit, Lahore and Corporate Regional Tax Office Lahore" the expression "Large Taxpayers Office, Lahore and Corporate Tax Office, Lahore" shall be substituted;
(m) against S. No. 20, in column (5), in entry I, for the words "Regional Tax Office-II Lahore" the expression "Regional Tax Office, Lahore" shall be substituted;
(n) against S. No. 22, in column (5), in entry I, after the word "of", appearing for the second time, the expression "Large Taxpayers' Office, Multan," shall be inserted; and
(o) against S. No. 33, in column (5), in entry I, for the expression "Regional Tax Office-II, Lahore" the expression "Regional Tax Office, Lahore" shall be substituted.
