(FEDERAL EXCISE)
S.R.O. 1039 (I)/2010.- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (12) of section 2 of the Federal Excise Act, 2005 read with clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 29 thereof, the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to invest the officers of the Directorate General of Internal Audit (Inland Revenue), not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent, with the powers of an officer of Inland Revenue under sections 22, 23, 25 and 26 of the said Act read with Chapter XIII of the Federal Excise Rules, 2005.
