Amendments in SRO 693(I)/2006 dated 1st July, 2006

NOTIFICATION

Islamabad, the 18th October, 2022.

S.R.O.1930 (I)/2022.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 18 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O 693(I)/2006, dated the 1st day of July, 2006, namely: -

In the aforesaid Notification, -

(1) in Appendix-I, in the first column, -

(a) for PCT heading "5703.2020", the PCT heading "5703.2910" shall be substituted;

(b) for PCT heading "5703.3020", the PCT heading "5703.3910" shall be substituted;

(c) for PCT heading "9401.9010", the PCT heading "9401.9910" shall be substituted; and

(d) after PCT heading "9401.9910", substituted as aforesaid and entries relating thereto in the second column, the following shall be added, namely:-

"9401.9920 - - - Seat parts made of foam, head/ arm rests and seat frames for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2140, 8701.9060, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8701.9220, 8701.9320, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390";

(2) in Appendix-II, in the first column, -

(1) against PCT heading 4009.1110, in the second column, for entry (1), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(1) Air cleaner hoses and water cooling system hoses (except turbo system hoses) for vehicles of sub - heading 8701.2120, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990 and 8701.2140";

(2) against PCT heading 4009.2110, in the second column, for entry (1), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(1) Air cleaner hoses and water cooling system hoses (except turbo system hoses) for vehicles of sub - heading 8701.2120, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990 and 8701.2140";

(3) against PCT heading 4009.3110, in the second column, for entry (1), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(1) Air cleaner hoses and water cooling system hoses (except turbo system hoses) for vehicles of sub - heading 8701.2120, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990 and 8701.2140";

(4) against PCT heading 4009.4110, in the second column, for entry (1), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(1) Air cleaner hoses and water cooling system hoses (except turbo system hoses) for vehicles of sub - heading 8701.2120, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990 and 8701.2140";

(5) against PCT heading 4012.9010, in the second column, for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"- - - Flaps for use with tyres / tubes for vehicles of sub -heading 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2490, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8704.6030 and 8704.2219";

(6) against PCT heading 4016.9920, in the second column, -

(i) for entry (1), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(1) Cushion / pad sub - assembly for cabin mounting rear member, for vehicles of sub - heading 8704.2219 and 8704.6030"; and

(ii) for entry (3), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(3) Mud flaps / mud guards for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub - headings 8701.2120, 8704.2040, 8701.2490, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390";

(7) against PCT heading 7320.1020, in the second column, for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"- - - For vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2490, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390";

(8) against PCT heading 8206.0020, in the second column, for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"- - - For vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2490, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390,

8701.2990, 8701.9220, 8701.9320, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390";

(9) against PCT heading 8483.5020, in the second column,

(i) for entry (1), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"- - - (1) Fly wheels (without built-in gear ring) for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8701.9220, 8701.9320, 8704.2219, 8704.2299 and 8704.2390"; and

(ii) for entry (2), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(2) Fan pulley for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-heading 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8704.2299 and 8704.2390";

(10) against PCT heading 8507.1020, in the second column, for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"- - - Meant for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2490, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8701.9290, 8701.9390, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390";

(11) against PCT heading 8512.2020, in the second column,

(i) for entry (2), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(2) Lamp assembly, front turn signal for vehicles of sub-heading 8701.9220, 8701.9320, 8704.6030 and 8704.2219";

(ii) for entry (4), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(4) Rear combination lamp / back up lamp / rear turning indicator / plough lamps / reverse light / parking light for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2490, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8701.9290, 8701.9390, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390"; and

(iii) for entry (6), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(6) Ceiling lamp/room lamp for vehicles of sub-heading 8704.2219 and 8704.6030";

(12) against PCT heading 8512.4020, in the second column, for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"- - - Wiper arm and blade assembly for vehicles of sub-heading 8704.2219 and 8704.6030";

(13) against PCT heading 8544.3012, in the second column, for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"- - - - Wiring sets and cable sets for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2490, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8701.9290, 8701.9390, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390";

(14) against PCT heading 8544.4222, in the second column, for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"- - - -Wiring sets and cable sets for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2490, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8701.9290, 8701.9390, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390";

(15) against PCT heading 8708.1010, in the second column,

(i) for entry (1), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"- - - (1) Bumpers (sheet metal) for vehicles of sub - heading 8701.2120, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990 and 8701.2140"; and

(ii) for entry (2), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(2) Bumper (sheet metal type) and parts thereof for vehicles of sub - headings 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390";

(16) against PCT heading 8708.2120, in the second column, for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"- - - For vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2490, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390";

(17) against PCT heading 8708.2911, in the second column, for entry (A), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"- - - - (A) Following components for vehicles of sub-headings 8701.2120, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990and 8701.2140";

(18) against PCT heading 8708.2942, in the second column,

(i) for entry (A), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"- - - - (A) Following components for vehicles of sub - heading 8704.2219 and 8704.6030"; and

(ii) for entry (B), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(B) Following components for vehicles of sub - heading 8704.2299 and 8704.6030";

(19) against PCT heading 8708.3010, in the second column, for entry (A), at Sr. Nos. (4) and (10), the following shall be substituted, respectively;

"(4) Brake drums and air / vacuum tanks for vehicles of sub-heading 8701.2120, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990 and 8701.2140

(10) Lever assembly for parking brake / hand brake (4x2 vehicles only) for vehicles of sub - heading 8701.2120, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990 and 8701.2140";

(20) against PCT heading 8708.3032, in the second column, for entry (A), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"- - - - (A) Following components, of vehicles of sub - heading 8704.2219 and 8704.6030";

(21) against PCT heading 8705.5010, in the second column, for entries (1), (2) and (4) the following shall be substituted, respectively;

"- - - (1) Built up drive axles with hub and brake drum for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub - headings 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390;

(2) Wheel hubs for axles for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub headings 8701.2120, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8701.2140, 8701.2490, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390;

(4) Built up Non driving axles with hub and brake drums for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub - headings 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2490, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390 ; Dust protection caps for wheel hubs and Wheel hubs for axles for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub heading 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8704.2219, 8704.2299 and 8704.2390";

(22) against PCT heading 8708.7020, in the second column, for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"- - - Road wheels (excluding casted), rims, discs, caps, ornaments and weights for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub- headings 8701.9220, 8701.9390, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390";

(23) against PCT heading 8708.8020, in the second column, for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"- - - Pin for shock absorbers (4x2 vehicles only) for vehicles of sub headings 8701.2120, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8701.9040 and 8701.9060";

(24) against PCT heading 8708.9130, in the second column, for entry (1), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"- - - (1) Radiator other than aluminum core, for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2120 (4x2 vehicles only), 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8701.9060, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.2390,8701.9220 and 8701.9320";

(25) against PCT heading 8708.9220, in the second column, for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"- - - Silencers, mufflers and exhaust pipes for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2120 (4x2 Vehicles only), 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8701.2140, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.2390, 8701.9220 and 8701.9320";

(26) against PCT heading 8708.9420, in the second column, for entry (1), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"- - - (1) Steering wheels (non foamed) and Covers Steering shafts for vehicles of sub - heading 8704.2219 and 8704.6030";

(27) against PCT heading 8708.9910, in the second column, for entry (A), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(A) For vehicles of heading 8701.2120, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990 and 8701.2140";

(28) against PCT heading 8708.9950, in the second column, for entry (A), the following shall be substituted, namely;

"(A) For vehicles of sub - heading 8704.2219 and 8704.6030";

(29) against PCT heading 9401.2020, in the second column, for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"- - - For vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2120, 8701.2140, 8701.2490, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8701.9290, 8701.9390, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390"; and

(30) against PCT heading 9401.9020 and entries relating thereto in the second column, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

"9401.9920 - - - Seat parts made of foam, head/ arm rests and seat frames for vehicles of heading 87.02 and sub-headings 8701.2140, 8701.9060, 8701.2190, 8701.2290, 8701.2390, 8701.2990, 8701.9220, 8701.9320, 8704.2219, 8704.2299, 8704.6030 and 8704.2390".
