Islamabad, the 10th October, 2022.
S.R.O. 1864(I)/2022.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 219 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Baggage Rules, 2006, which as required under sub-section (3A) of the said section 219, were previously published vide Notification No.S.R.O 1751(I)/2022, dated the 20th day of September, 2022, namely:-
In the aforesaid Rules,-
(1) in rule 7A, the existing provision shall be numbered as sub-rule (1) thereof and thereafter the following new sub-rule shall be added, namely:-
(2) The outbound passenger, for all countries except Afghanistan, without prejudice to his entitlement of taking out of Pakistan 1,000 US $ upto the age of 5 years, 5,000 US $ above 5 years upto 18 years and 10,000 US $ above the age of 18 years, while taking out of Pakistan foreign currency exceeding US $ 5,000 or equivalent, or any other prohibited or restricted item, shall file a declaration in the Form as set out in Appendix-C, before or on departure, electronically in the WeBOC or pass track or manually at the airport. The persons travelling to Afghanistan, while having entitlement of 1,000 US $, shall file a declaration of currency in their possession, in the Form as set out in Appendix-C. The incoming passenger when in possession of foreign currency exceeding US $ 10,000 or equivalent, or any other prohibited or restricted item, shall also file a declaration in the Form as set out in Appendix-C."; and

(2) in Appendix "C", for the DECLARATION, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
