(CUSTOMS/SALES TAX)
S.R.O. 18(I)/2019.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), read with clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 678(I)/2004, dated the 7th August, 2004, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, under the heading "CONDITIONS WITH REFERENCE TO CLAUSES (1), (2) and (2a), in condition (vii), after the word and comma "vessels", occurring for the first time, the words, letters and comma "vessels imported by exploration and production Companies, their contractors and service companies for offshore projects duly certified by the relevant Regulatory Authority that the imports are meant for offshore projects," shall be inserted.
