NOTIFICATION
(CUSTOMS)
S.R.O. 1540 (I)/2018.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 219 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Customs Rules, 2001, namely:-
In the aforesaid Rules,-
(i) in rule 592,-
(a) in clause (vii), the word "and", at the end, shall be omitted;
(b) in clause (viii), at the end for the full stop, the semi colon and word "; and" shall be substituted; and
(c) after clause (viii), the following new clause shall be added, namely:-
"(ix) Industrial input as approved by the Collector in the analysis certificate in terms of Rule 2(f) of SRO 327(I)/2008 dated 29.3.2008; and
(ii) in rule 593, in proviso, after figure and bracket "(viii)", the word, figure and bracket " and (ix)" shall be inserted.
