NOTIFICATION
Islamabad, the 4th January, 2023.
S.R.O. 02 (I)/2023.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 656(I)/2006, dated 22.06.2006, namely: -
In the aforesaid Notification, in Table-I, -
(a) against serial No. 6(a) in column (1) and entries relating thereto in column (2), (3) and (4), the following shall be substituted, namely; -
| "Vehicle of PCT heading 87.03 up to 1000cc (excluding specially designed twin cabin type taxi PCT heading 8703.3227 and 4-stroke auto Rickshaw of PCT heading 8703.2115) | (i) components for assembly / manufacture in any kit form | 30% but 15% for new make or model as certified by EDB for three years from the date of issuance of manufacturing certificate or up to 30th June 2026, whichever is earlier |
| (ii) Tyres/ Tubes | 16%"; |
(b) after S. No. 6(a) in column (1), the S. No. 6(a1) and entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), shall be omitted;
(c) against S. No. 6(b) in column (1) and entry relating thereto in column (2), the following shall be substituted, namely;-
"Vehicle of PCT heading 87.03 exceeding 1000cc (excluding specially designed twin cabin type taxi PCT heading 8703.3227 and 4-stroke Auto Rickshaw of PCT heading 8703.2115)"; and
(d) after S. No. 6(b) in column (1), the S. No. 6(b1) and entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), shall be omitted.
